![]() By 14 I was teaching larger class sizes with older kids and I was really exercising my choreography muscle. ![]() I took teaching really seriously even at 12yrs old and having my own class really sparked my interest for teaching and choreographing. It was a class of six 4 year olds and they were absolutely adorable. My mom gave me my first opportunity to choreograph and teach my own class at 12 years old, which looking back now was a really big leap of faith on her part. I was breathing, eating and sleeping dance. My mom owned the studio and it was truly my favorite place to be. Growing up I pretty much lived at the dance studio. I am a professional dancer/choreographer and I absolutely adore what I do. Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community? There have definitely been times that I was scared when shooting my shot (trying to make my dreams and goals reality) but asking myself “why not me?” has really changed my perspective on what I am capable of accomplishing. I know what I am capable of and I’m willing to work for it as well as knowing the value and quality of the work I put into everything I do. ![]() I think the most important factor behind my success up to this point in my life would truly tie into my self worth/respect.
